Glass ceramic surface
The glass ceramic surface has four
zones. When a zone is turned on it
is illuminated at various intervals
depending on the setting chosen.
Even at the highest setting the zone
is disconnected occasionally to
ensure that the surface is not over-
heated.
The glass is hard, and has been
tempered to withstand heat, cold
and temperature shocks. But like all
glass it is sensitive to impact. Do
not stand on the glass ceramic
surface - it cannot withstand
abnormal loads.
Zones
There are tree single zones and one
double zone.
Pilot light
Pilot light is activated when either
of the plates are turned on, and will
remain on until the plates are
switched off.
Residual-Heat indicator
Each plate has a residual heat
indicator which remains on as long
as the temperature of the plate
exceeds 80˚C, even if the plate is
switched off.
