Using the child safety device
The child safety device prevents unintentional use of the appliance.
Automatic switch off
Induction cooking zones
• When overheating occurs (e.g. if a pot has boiled dry) the cooking zone auto-
matically switches itself off. is shown. Before being used again, the cooking
zone must be set to .
• If unsuitable implements are used, lights up for two minutes in the display
of the cooking zone. Following this is displayed. If the setting of the ring
switch is changed while is lit, appears in the

• If one of the cooking zones is not switched off after a certain time, or if the
heat setting is not modified, the relevant cooking zone switches off automati-
